Our Granting

The Shuswap Community Foundation exists to provide a means by which people can support their community in perpetuity. The Foundation has over $5.5 million in endowed assets, the annual earnings on which are distributed to support projects in the area that will enhance the quality of life of residents.

The Shuswap Community Foundation also acts as an agent to receive applications for City of Salmon Arm Grants for Community Groups. See more information about the Grants for Community Groups.

Qualified organizations may apply for regular grants from the Shuswap Community Foundation. Regular grants support a broad range of projects. The deadline for grant applications to be considered is June 15 of each year.

To be eligible for grants from any of these categories the applicant must be a registered charity (qualifying donee) and the project must be located within the Shuswap.  Please read the guidelines carefully before filling out your application form.  If your organization is not a registered charity, please contact us. 

All projects must submit a  Project Evaluation.
