New Funds Abound!
It was an exciting fall at the Shuswap Community Foundation, with the establishment of four new endowment funds within the space of only three months, and this spring has seen the addition of two more. The Foundation’s capital fund is now just shy of $5 million.

The Shuswap Children’s Literacy Fund has been renamed the Lisa Rolland Children’s Literacy Fund. An outpouring of donations in Lisa Rolland’s memory at the beginning of this year helped push this fund over the $10,000 mark in just 3 months. This will allow the first grant from the fund to be given out this fall, in October 2012.
